I run my republic toons with The Covenant (guild on hold) and Unchained Wrath / Intergalactic Sociopaths impside. These are on the Star Forge server.
Why do you want to join a guild? Here is why young Padawan:
- Most guild offer a +10% XP bonus when you join, so right there stop reading and join a guild.
- Most also offer a +10% reputation bonus, which applies to the reputation stuff in your legacy (press Y!)
- Folks to play with, ask questions, or just hang out
- Larger guilds will have either or a guild ship or a stronghold. Very useful when well built. Saves bunch of time.
- Most guilds have a voice system, fun. And useful when typing is not cutting it.
So how do you join a guild? Easy peasy:
- Do a general chat request requesting a guild like "LF Guild", on a starter world, 2nd world or fleet. Plenty of good guilds, a way to measure is asking the # of members. If it's under say 150 take a pass if you like
- Wait on fleet or starter worlds for folks to spam guild invites. Can't miss them.
- But the best place is on the SWTOR forums of your server to find guilds recruiting.
Make new friends & have fun!
